Goals For SV-ISSA Director of Membership

I was elected as this chapter's membership director a year ago for a one year term. I'm asking you now to please elect me for a full two year term. We've had some growth in membership, but more is needed.

My goal remains to continue to work to find ways to achieve answers to the questions:

What is it that YOU want our chapter to do to make you want to attend, participate, and have colleagues join the chapter too?

What can we do differently to better satisfy YOUR needs from the Silicon Valley chapter of the ISSA?

We need to work together to enhance the value of your membership in our chapter, and to grow our membership.

Please elect me as your membership director to continue my efforts to improve our chapter and to allow me to continue to "give back" to our chapter.

Thank you

Statement of Goals:

As a past Silicon Valley board member from 2002-2007, the last 3 years as president, it is my ambition to help further the goals of the Silicon Valley Chapter back in my first role on the board as Membership Director. By bringing an active voice with 14 years of local chapter and international board experience.

The role of Membership Director is to maintain an accurate membership database interfacing with ISSA International to ensure that all members listed are in good standing. The Membership Director will keep track of meeting attendance.

In addition to those duties I will focus on activities that grow chapter membership by reaching out to past and current members to help find new ones. Engage other associations to co-promote events and build membership.

If elected as your Membership Director, I will continue to dedicate my energies to build value for our chapter members.

I will guide my decisions on the board based on one question: How will this help our chapter?

It is an honor to serve on the chapter board and I look forward to your support.
