Corporate Security Administrator

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Reporting directly to the Manager, Corporate Security, the Corporate Security Administrator interacts directly with E*TRADE business units at assigned locations regarding physical safety and security issues. Performs duties in compliance with company and department security policies and procedures across assigned locations. Duties include but are not limited to: meet and greet customers, visitors, contractors, vendors; transfers incoming calls as needed; issues temporary badges; fingerprints new hires; creating photo badges for new employees in conjunction with the operations center; monitors security cameras and systems; dispatches vendors during malfunctions; prevent unauthorized entry by intruders and other security violations; investigates and document reports of theft, vandalism, and other security related incidents; provides metrics and reports to management as needed; responds to reports of employees in medical distress; summon emergency responders and law enforcement as needed; participates in emergency preparation teams; performs quarterly and annual account audit requirements as assigned; assists management in working with guard services for assigned locations. Helps identify risk areas, recommends preventive solutions, and implements correction action plans as appropriate to ensure safety of employees and protection of company assets. Takes a lead role in ensuring documentation is kept current and accurately reflects the environment they support. Training and mentor CSA staff and contingent workers as needed to ensure incessant operational consistency and efficiency.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 -5 years experience in physical safety and security.
  • Must have operational and programming-level knowledge of the CCure security system software.
  • Must be able to learn programming level skills for CCure security system and be able to serve as secondary programmer as needed
  • Must have in-depth knowledge of the Integral Video Systems or equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand and follow related policy and process documentation
  • Excellent communication, analytical, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Position is on call 24x7.
  • Must be willing to travel to other locations if needed. Travel required less than 10%.
  • In-depth knowledge of collaboration tools (i.e. MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio)
  • High School Diploma required.

Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • Demonstrated experience working with security personnel, monitoring and audit tools in a 24x7 setting
  • Be CPR and First Aid Certified

OTHER RESPONSIBILITY / ACCOUNTABILITY:

  • Will back-up and assist Operations Center manager with CCure programming as needed.
  • Ensures appropriate data is collected and retained for dashboards, audits and investigative purposes.
  • Provides weekly/monthly reports on physical security, compliance, and access control issues.
  • Must complete initial and annual training courses as required by state law, where applicable.

Enterprise Security Architect

Purpose:

Provide enterprise security architecture for the company’s Information Systems, which involves defining, with the stakeholders, the as-is and to-be enterprise security environment for the company. Responsible for establishing and managing the security architecture transition plan, working with key stakeholders to set security standards and guidelines, and performing a hands-on security advisory function for the company’s technology staff.

Major Accountabilities:

 

  • Manage the Information Systems security architecture function of the company, which includes working collaboratively with other enterprise architects, IS Security department, and other IS departments.
  • Develop the information security architecture function in alignment with enterprise architecture objectives.
  • Interact with the company’s internal and external auditors and regulators regarding compliance issues.
  • Develop, as appropriate, conceptual, logical, and physical security models to work within based on internal network standards: firewalls, load balancing, virtualization, remote access, member extranets, operating systems security, application security, security program compliance, SANs and disaster recovery sites.
  • Define security standards for infrastructure, application. and data layers.
  • Provide mentoring and technical leadership to others in the implementation of information security standards and in realizing the transition plan for information security architecture. Ensure safeguarding of the company’s information systems' assets through robust security architecture and controls.
  • Provide practical application of the defined information security architectural methods and technologies.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, or Math, or equivalent work experience, required. Master’s degree or certification in Security Architecture strongly preferred.
  • Minimum five years experience in information security field, preferably within a SEC registered financial institution.
  • Minimum of five years’ direct experience with SSO, Kerberos, ole-based access control, identity management and provisioning, LDAP, Active Directory, virtualization, web services (SOAP), securing SOA, web access, firewalls, securing exchange server, SANs.
  • Ability to create security architecture prototypes in the applications, infrastructure and data areas of information technology.
  • Strong technical skills and hands-on practical knowledge and experience with IS security technologies.
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing information security architectures in a financial institution.
  • Detailed knowledge of information technology security methods, tools and techniques.
  • Expertise in creating and communicating enterprise information security architecture.
  • Experience in discovering and documenting a company's as-is and to-be information security architectural states.
  • Strong experience with multi-platform and multi-technology environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply information security controls to mitigate risks in safeguarding assets.
  • Structured thinker with strong analytical and interpersonal skills.

Job Duties:

  • Manage, Maintain, and protect customer data stored on the various RAID systems (preferably ZFS).

Job Requirements:

  • Must have hands on experience maintaining Windows servers and Windows Domains
  • Must have hands on experience maintaining Unix systems.
  • Must have hands on experience programming network switches, firewalls, load balancers, and routers.
  • Must have hands on experience managing RAID systems.
  • Must be willing to be on call 24 hours a day seven days a week.  You will be required to carry a pager (or similar device) and come in at anytime day or night to repair a system that has a health problem and isn’t redundant.
  • Must be willing to travel periodically.  Data centers are located in Atlanta, GA and one in Santa Clara, CA. You will be required to maintain both data centers.
  • Must have experience writing scripts in Perl.

  • Experience with HP Layer 3 switches a plus
  • Experience with Juniper Firewalls a plus
  • Experience with Barracuda load balancers a plus
