Entrepreneur's Forum.
The Security Innovation Network (SINET) hosts the Fourth
Annual IT Security Entrepreneurs' Forum
(ITSEF): "Bridging the Gaps" in our Nation's Cyber Security: Connecting Leadership, Innovation, and Policy
at Stanford
University on March
16 - 17, 2010. SINET is pleased to announce that His Excellency Jaak Aaviksoo, the Minister of
Defense of the Republic
of Estonia
will keynote this year's Forum.
ITSEF is the premier venue for start up and emerging solution providers.
This event offers a unique environment to meet and collaborate with a
select group of government, industry and venture capital leaders who will
address market trends, needs, processes and opportunities on approaching
and accessing these markets. It is the only forum of its kind designed to
"bridge the gap" between the Federal Government, system
integration, private industry, innovation, venture capital, academic and
science communities. At ITSEF, your participation equals a full day
of discussion and networking with government and industry leaders from
organizations such as DHS, DOE, General Dynamics, ManTech, Charles
Schwab, DNI, NSA and many others.

For the first time, SINET is offering an optional half-day day of workshops
on March 16, 2010. The SINET workshops are designed for early stage and
emerging companies who desire to partner with the Federal Government.
These workshops offer a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs to receive
specific guidance on how to navigate the complex process of selling and
developing commercial relationships with the civilian, defense and
intelligence agencies of the Federal Government. Taught by industry and
Federal Government subject matter experts, these workshops will provide
invaluable and specific insight on a broad spectrum of relevant topics
including Obtaining Federal Funding, Selling to the Government,
Government Contracting, Buying Cycles, GSA, SCAP, and Understanding
Procurement and Acquisition.
